USB-C Gigabit Network adaptor with MAC address pass-through

"MAC Address Pass-Through" uses the system-unique MAC address entered in the system Basic Input/Output System (BIOS) which is then used to override the adaptor MAC address every time it’s connected to the network. This way the network sees the system-unique MAC address instead of the adaptor MAC address. In this way used to identify and manage individual assets and permissions on a network. Please note: If the adaptor is used on a system not supporting "MAC Address Pass-Through" the feature is not available and it will use the MAC address of the adaptor instead.

This feature allows the MAC address of the native Ethernet network device on the system to be used for imaging, systems management, etc. “MAC address pass-through” does function before booting to the operating system and in the Preboot eXecution Environment (PXE) boot process.
